Since 1994, the mission of TAWSE (Try Another Way State Employees) is to inspire state employees to be more efficient in their work day travel by promoting and facilitating walking, biking, carpooling, vanpooling, using public transportation, and telecommuting.

The 3nd Annual Recycle Your Cycle event will be Saturday, May 5th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Lazy Green Park across from Helena Middle School. Sponsored by the Helena Safe Routes To School Committee this is an opportunity to sell, swap or buy bicycles.
Other activities planned include: Free bicycle registration by the Helena Police Department! Free handouts: May Bike Month Calendars distribution by Switching Gears, project of the Lewis & Clark County Health Department, bicycle safety/education brochures. Big Sky Cyclery and The Helena Bicycle Club will be represented as well as others.
